Introduction
There are about 20 species in the genus Eumorpha, found variously from Canada to Argentina.
Eumorpha vitis is distributed from the southern USA to Uruguay, Paraguay and northern Argentina.

The caterpillars feed on grapevine - Vitis ( Vitaceae ).
