Saturniidae, Sphingidae, Bombycidae

The superfamily Bombycoidea is represented in the neotropical region by 5 families i.e. Saturniidae, Sphingidae, Bombycidae, Phiditiidae and Eupterotidae. It also includes the Endromidae, Lemoniidae, Brahmaeidae and Carthaeidae. The latter 4 families do not occur in the neotropics. The thumbnails below link to full size images and descriptions.
